George has spent 15 years driving technology innovations, leading product and strategy development across emerging technologies and enabling online banking channel transformation. He is a huge advocate of providing more businesses and consumers with access to immediate payments. George joined VocaLink in November 2014 as Immediate Payments Services Director. He oversees the international development of VocaLink’s real-time payments proposition and associated mobile payments solutions. Since joining, George has pioneered the development of international strategies for VocaLink in the US, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.

After his study macro-economics at the Amsterdam University, Piet Mallekoote joined the Dutch Central Bank (DNB). He held several senior management positions in economic research, economic policy and payments. Mallekoote joined Currence, owner of the Dutch payment products, including iDEAL, in 2004.

Kris joined VocaLink in 2004 and is responsible for leading the International business development function within the Commercial Services business unit. Kris has over 30 years experience in delivering financial service and payments solutions. Before joining VocaLink he was Head of Operations at Minster Trust in London where he was responsible for implementing a web-enabled solution to support a white-labelled e-banking strategy including UK payments integration.
